Diminuiscono i ricorsi all'UDRP per il recupero dei nomi a dominio registrati abusivamente. Il New York Law Journal sostiene che il motivo per cui la richiesta degli utenti è così bassa è da riscontrarsi nel fatto che, dei circa 6.000 casi che sono stati esaminati con l'UDRP, i detentori di marchi corrispondenti al nome di dominio hanno avuto ragione nel 70% dei casi.
